Here are some details about the benefits you have as a grad worker at JHU, thanks to our current collective bargaining agreement:
- Stipend of $50,000 per year from July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026 (will increase to $52,000 afterwards)
- Union dues can be deducted from your Maryland taxes!
- Health, Dental, and Vision insurance
- Dependent support and health insurance
- Parental leave of 8 weeks + an additional 4 weeks for parents who give birth
- Tax workshops every year for international workers
- Immigration leave
